Coral reefs are the rainforests of the sea. What happens when they are no longer –or extinct?
The name of this work is not hypothetical, the threat is very real, 99% of coral will die id the temperature increases by just 2 degrees Celsius.
Coral grows at a very slow rate but are dying at a very fast one. The disappearance of coral reefs due to ocean pollution and the climate crisis could lead to a domino effect of mass destruction. This danger will not stay within oceanic boundaries but will affect all of nature and humanity and life on earth.
